Meross Presence Sensor Thread utilizes the latest Matter over Thread technology, enabling connectivity through platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa via third-party speakers that support Matter and Thread.

No Meross Hub is required when using third-party platforms. For remote control and advanced features in the Meross app (such as automations), a Meross Hub is required. The Meross Hub is currently under development and is expected to be available in Q2 2026.

With Matter, local connection and control can be achieved through these three speaker brands, resulting in lower latency and more responsive performance.
