Apple HomeKit Users Notification

Hello everyone,

Our tech team found increasing customer feedback on Meross HomeKit device problems recently. The problem includes being stuck in an ''updating'' or ''configuring'' status and devices going missing. 

According to the document from Apple, the problem was caused by iOS 16.2 upgrade. And its Home architecture update has been marked as a major issue, and Apple also added it to an internal list of issues typically only reserved for widespread and noteworthy problems, indicating the update caused widespread and systemic issues to users' HomeKit devices and setup.

To deal with the problem, Apple published a support document on Dec 30th, 2022, designed to help those having issues with HomeKit, outlining what to do if you can't access a home or accept an invitation in the Home app.
