The black screen on the device is a solar panel that can collect energy from ambient light to power the sensor. It is not an LCD screen and won't display any content.
According to the test results conducted by the Meross laboratory, the solar panel will start operating when the ambient light reaches approximately 350 Lux, and it will remain stable during operation with a minimum requirement of 150 Lux. During operation, as long as the ambient light is sufficiently bright, the solar panel will provide energy to the sensor without consuming any battery power.
