What should I do if I lose the HomeKit QR code or the QR code is not available?

If the HomeKit QR code is worn out or there is no QR code on the device (such as a smart LED bulb). You can still configure HomeKit via the setup code.


Here is the way how to get the HomeKit setup code:
*Note: If you have not yet added the device to the Meross app, please refer to this FAQ.

1. Go to the "Device Settings" page within the Meross app and choose the "HomeKit setup code" function to retrieve the setup code. (Skip this step if you remember the setup code)

2. Follow the steps below to configure the device in the Apple Home app.


*Note: If you get the error of "accessory has already been added to another home", you need to factory reset the device and set up it again from the beginning.
